This farm’s goal is to promote the survival of the green turtles, which are an endangered species. The farm is located next to Tanjung Benoa, near Nusa Dua and Jimbaran Bay. The shy turtles are kept in bamboo fences, so that they are safe from poachers. People are now encouraged not to kill the turtles for food, in order to ensure the survival of these creatures.

turtle bali farmThe place is a small delta mangrove forests covered, white sand shores, with a wave of calm, situated overlooking the sea recreation center Benoa Harbor. Because it has an intact ecological system, clean beaches, lush mangrove forests, then this place has been developed for breeding sea turtles.

At low tide you can cross over on foot on the sidelines of the mangrove trees of Tanjung Benoa, but at tide water, we had to cross by boat/ djoekoengs from Benoa harbor for about 10 minutes.

In addition to seeing a captive turtles, tourists who come here can see the different types of fighting cock, animals and wild birds and a small temple. As a tourist area, on this small island is also home to eat, shop for souvenirs and wildlife attractions show.
